Employees do not make sustainability a primary concern because they do not believe their actions would make an impact and they don’t know where to start. So we want to give them a way to see the impact of being sustainable by providing a fun game to play. Inspired by the nostalgic Tamagotchi, we created Henry a new virtual office pet for Havas NY. The employees try to keep him alive by being sustainable due to his health mapped to the amount of waste produced. With a competitive element between floors
At the end of every two weeks, we tally up how many times each floor killed Henry and whoever has the least kills wins. We reward the winning floors with prizes such as pizza and beer.
When Henry dies the employee's mourn. This is why there are no nacho chips in the magic kitchens anymore … sad! But he will be reborn in two days. We also put music related to the state of henry.
